Day ? - Why Johnny Can't Blog

Folks, let's be honest: being sick for a week put certain things into perspective. One of them was the efficacy of spending my time working on this blog. Have you found it useful? Did it result in you purchasing an ILP kit? Has it inspired, deepened, or augmented your practice? Would you like it to continue?

Please note: I am not giving up on ILP. Or, more, specifically: I am not giving up on advancing my life through the use of transformational technologies. Specific practices -- the 1-2-3 of God, 3-2-1 Process, Big Mind (tm) -- may come and go, but I'll intend to keep doing everything I can to stay in shape, manage my shadows, take perspectives, and ground it all in the present moment. What I am toying with, however, is putting my blogging time into other, more effective writing-oriented areas. Your feedback in this regard would be most useful.

Comments:
Dear Paul

I find your blog very educational and sometimes even inspiring. But I do think that you have to assess its priority in your overall practice. Maybe you could do it once a week? Maybe this last entry of yours is a cry for more reaction from others?

Cheers

Dark Night of the Blog?

Hey man, you got to make it through day 90... :-D

I say keep going. You don't have to post every day. And it will be good for the legacy.

It made sense to post often in the beginning. But the honeymoon is over :)

Keep blogging now and you'll thank yourself later. Seriously. If you get through the plateau then you can push through anything.

I read it everyday and if it wasn't for your sage advice I never would have bought the kit. Still waiting for the fucker to arrive though. Oh, I win the sickness contest btw.

paulos,

i here your cry and i cannot turn away.

the posts seem to be drifting from commentary directly related to particular ILP practices to stuff that is indirectly related to these practices, and now to stuff which is indirectly related to anything resembling reflections on what it would be like to practice (with some neat variations in between). i am not sure what will be accomplished by continuing to allow the blog to become more and more vague, after all, it began originally as a way to keep track of your ACTUAL PRACTICE activities and, dare i say, to maintain a sense of accoutability amongst your peers. sickness or no sickness, i would much rather you take the time to do the actual practices than to sit in front of your laptop everyday and mull over if you think that the prac tices are worthwhile or not.

you dig?

love and light,

i haven't bought the lip, nor will i buy the lip, but i still like reading this blog. whatever you choose write about, beit your lip, or hollaback, or post-post-post-post rock, it is always interesting. besides, if the lip does what it is supposed to do, you should be talking about other things besides its mere lip, right?

i say you rock! but sometimes blogging in silence is the next best thing.

hmmm... good idea. i might do that too... and shut the f*ck up.
